1. Who we are
Once. is a curated marketplace for authenticated pre-owned designer dresses. By creating an account, browsing, buying or consigning, you agree to these terms.
2. Membership
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
3. Buying
Every piece is unique and sold as one item. Listings describe condition, alterations and any extra fabric as reported by the seller and verified by our curators. Placing an order creates a reservation of that piece; the sale is complete once payment is received and confirmed by our concierge.
4. Reservations
A reservation holds a piece for 48 hours against a refundable deposit. The deposit is applied to the purchase price or returned in full if you do not proceed within the hold period.
5. Offers
Offers are non-binding proposals. Sellers and curators may accept, counter or decline. An accepted offer becomes payable at the agreed price.
6. Selling and consignment
Sellers warrant that they own the item, that it is authentic, and that its description is accurate. Listing prices are capped at 50% of documented original retail. Once. retains a 20% commission on the final sale price; the remainder is paid to the seller after the buyer's return window closes.
7. Authenticity
Items suspected of being counterfeit are removed and may be reported. Confirmed counterfeits are refunded in full to the buyer and the seller's account may be closed.
8. Prohibited use
No fraudulent listings, no harassment of other members, no attempts to transact outside the platform, and no scraping or automated access.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Once. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
